

Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Kerry was the first-born child of Kerry Myers of Tampa, Fl and Dr. Marsha Sladeski of Buffalo, NY. The family lived in Tennessee, Ohio and New York.
Kerry grew up in Buffalo, NY. His life revolved around sports. Kerry played basketball, baseball, golf, and hockey. He excelled in basketball, golf, and baseball.
He graduated from Sweet Home H.S and attended both Erie Community College and the State University of New York at Buffalo.
Until Kerry was 32 years old, he lived in Buffalo, enjoying all of Buffalo; especially his wonderful friends, the food, the Buffalo Bills, and the Buffalo Sabres.
At 32 years old, Kerry moved to Tampa, FL, and worked in his father’s business, also enjoying Tampa and his wonderful friends there. He spent time volunteering at his local Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, Fl. The church, his volunteer work, and his church friends brought him happiness and comfort. In Tampa, he enjoyed the Lightning, the Rays and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
When visiting Buffalo from Florida, Kerry spent time with his close friends. He especially loved the euchre games at Theresa and Andy’s. He also enjoyed lunches with Steve, Pete, Michelle, and his mom; always lasting long to catch up on the news. In Florida, Kerry was close to Tony, an old friend from Buffalo, and Jeff, his landlord and generous friend.
In addition to his parents, Kerry, was, for forty years, a good friend to his surrogate father Frank Sturniolo. Kerry is survived by his sister Jodi Myers Carrier, her husband Joseph Carrier, and his nieces Sarah and Jennifer, and his nephew Joseph Carrier Jr of White Plains, NY. In addition, KII had many wonderful aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will always be remembered as a very kind and generous son, brother, uncle, nephew, and friend.
The celebration of life services will be held at District 8, 3:00 pm on August 23, 2025 at 1509 8th Ave Ybor city, FL.
