

Born on April 6, 1936, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Larry lived a long and full life marked by dedication to his family, strong values, and meaningful community involvement. He served in the United States military from 1958 to 1960. He was also a proud Mason and Shriner, carrying those principles of brotherhood, charity, and integrity throughout his life. Larry was a very talented auto mechanic and even built his own hot rod, a reflection of his skill, creativity, and passion for working with cars.
Larry was the son of Henry and Gertrude Hundley. He was preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers, Earl, Arthur, and Donald, and his beloved wife, Joan Hundley, who passed in 2017. Joan was truly the love of his life and his world, and their bond remained central to him throughout his life.
Larry was a devoted father to Chris Benka and Scott Hundley, a proud grandfather to Stephanie, Katie, and Madison, and a cherished great-grandfather to eight.
Larry will be remembered for his strength, his kindness, and the deep love he had for his family. He will be missed deeply.
Funeral services will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home on Friday, April 24, 2026. Visitation will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., followed by the ceremony from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. After 12:30 p.m., we will proceed next door for refreshments and fellowship. Following that, those attending the graveside will be escorted together to the cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
