Leslie D. Snow-Gargus, 54, returned to be with Jesus on December 30, 2015. Born in Tampa to Gary and Vivian Snow April 11,1961. As a child and young adult her life took her from Tampa to many different locations as a result of her father and husband Brent’s military service. She spent time living in Tampa and other states. Her happiest 13 years were spent living in Germany. Eight of these years with her parents and five with her husband Brent. She was a graduate of the St. Petersburg College of Nursing with additional training online while living in Germany. She was a Registered Nurse in Pediatric Oncology working at Tampa General Hospital and All Children’s Hospital. Leslie worked for DOD while stationed with husband Brent, also an Army Officer. In the 80’s, she was known to leave after her shift to buy fast food and other comforts and desires for her patients. This she did with her own money, done out of her love and compassion for her patients. Having lost an infant son, she had an incredible compassion for those in need and would do anything she could to help. She truly loved the Lord, her family and will be waiting for them upon their arrival. Leslie worked as a veterinary technician prior to her nursing career and was a devout lover of animals. She rode and showed horses. Leslie was predeceased by her son Ian Reid and her sister, Stacy Snow Kolacki. She is survived by her parents Gary and Vivian Snow, husband Brent Gargus, son Brent Beasley, daughter Brooke Beasley and many nieces and additional family and friends. She was truly loved by family and all who knew her. We are grateful that she is no longer in pain. Visitation will be held on Saturday January 16th from 2-3pm followed by a celebration of life at 3pm at the Blount & Curry Funeral Home, 605 S. MacDill Ave., Tampa. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Operation Rescue.org.
