He is the father to Scott, Heather Kling (John, III), grandfather to John IV (Kelsey), Alyssa, twins Brett and Jordan, great grandchildren, Lance and Opal and dog Scruffy.
He was a machinist at Arco until moving to Tampa in 1977. He owned and operated a cleaners and two shoe repairs until retirement.
He was a long-standing member and usher at Incarnation Church. He was a Lifetime member of Weight Watchers, usher at the Straz, member of OTBBA, Just Friends Club, YMCA and was the funniest man we knew. He was blessed, and cherished his wife, children, grand and great grand children and was an inspiration to all.
Celebration of Life at Blount Curry Funeral Home, on Hillsborough and Silvermilll on Thursday, October 12 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass is then scheduled at Incarnation Church on Friday, October 13 at 10:00 a.m.
