Libby Studstill Dickinson

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Libby Studstill Dickinson of Tampa, FL, who left us on September 12, 2023 at age of 89. Libby was born in Valdosta, Georgia on July 4, 1934 to the late John Lee and Coreen Studstill.

She graduated from Stephens College and married her beloved husband Clayton Dickinson in 1951. Together they raised four amazing children and moved to Tampa in 1955.

Libby joined the Junior League of Tampa, member of the St. Andrews Church, The Garden Club where she served one year as president. She was also a member of the Chisler’s and was very happy to be a member of the DAR. She loved spending her time with her family, her family meant the world to her!

Libby is survived by her four children Robert Dickinson III (Merce), David Dickinson, Michael Dickinson (Mary Beth), and Stacy Dickinson Curtis (Bill); Grandchildren Madison Dickinson Hendren (George), Walker Dickinson (Tayler}, Gilkey Dickinson (Mitsuki), Mary Ashley Dickinson Edwards (Ian), Michelle Dickinson Overstreet (Tyler), Katie Curtis, Daniel Curtis, and Caroline Curtis; Great Grandchildren Alice and Beatrice Hendren, Montgomery Dickinson, Kayla, Odin, and Sadie Dickinson, Thomas and Jack Edwards, and Beau Overstreet due in October; Brother Kenneth Studstill (Charlotte); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by Clayton Dickinson, Coreen Studstill, and John Lee Studstill, brothers JL and Gene Studstill. Mom loved life and the Lord!

A memorial service will be held at St. Andrews Church Saturday October 14th 2023, 11:00am at St. Andrews Episcopal Church 509 E. Twiggs St. Tampa, Florida.
