Margaret Mary (Myers) Mohar, 86, of Tampa passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 30, 2020 after a brief battle with COVID-19. Margaret was born in 1934 in St. Mary's, MO and was one of 12 children raised in a close-knit family. She lived in Tampa for over 60 years and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church where she volunteered for many parish functions over the years. She worked in real estate for many years followed by a move to Tampa General Hospital. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory J. Mohar, in 2002. She is survived by her children, Christopher Mohar (Kandy) and Celeste Sacks (Scott); grandchildren, Christopher Mohar Jr., Alexandra Mohar, Stephanie Sacks, and Noah Sacks; and great grandchild, Edwin (Melo). She is also survived by two siblings, Theresa Gurka and Joseph Myers and many nieces and nephews. Margaret was always impeccably dressed and enjoyed decorating and hosting family and friends for memorable holiday gatherings. Margaret was a friend to many and was always the life of the party. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church in Margaret's name. A funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 4518 S. Manhattan Ave., Tampa, FL, Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11am. She will be laid to rest at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa, FL.
