

Mrs. Marilyn Wilson 93, widow of James Arthur Wilson, Jr., and loving supporting mother, grandmother, and sister passed away at her residence on September 9, 2021 after a short illness. She was born July 15, 1928 in Wilmington, North Carolina to Charles and Trixie Coleman Walker. Mrs. Wilson married James in 1948 in Cairo, Georgia with whom she had five children. In 1961, Mrs. Wilson moved to Tampa along with her husband James and children for his final tour of duty with the US Air Force at MacDill AFB. During this time, she worked and retired from Hendry Corporation of Tampa. She enjoyed sewing and cooking with her daughters, visiting with family and close friends, and pampering her pets.
Mrs. Wilson is proceeded by her husband James, her brothers Charles, Robert, and Jefferson, and her granddaughter Stephanie.
She is survived by her son Stephen (Evelyn), daughters Linda, Kay (Tim), Leslie (George), Debra (Ward), sisters Dorothy Williams and Carolyn Hill, and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is forever loved and never forgotten.
A private graveside service will be held for immediate and extended family at the Garden of Memories cemetery in Tampa.
