Marta Bulnes

She is survived by her five children, Mirta Rosquete (Igancio), Rene Bulnes (Vivian), George (Luis) Bulnes (Anita), Reinaldo (Rey) Bulnes (Josette), and Rolando Bulnes; her nine grandchildren, Robert Abrams (Kelly), Melissa Castro (Rodney), Lorinda Stein (Craig), Brian Abrams, Christopher Bulnes, DMD (Kelsey), Alan Bulnes, Esq., Jennifer Ulmer (Dennis), Kenneth Bulnes, and Gregory Bulnes; and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Ybor City in 1927 and was a lifelong resident of Tampa. She will be remembered for her love and devotion to her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family. Marta was an integral figure in the raising of her grandchildren imprinting lifelong values and lessons of her family history. Her generosity was expressed through her talents as a seamstress making clothes, wedding and baby keepsakes and shower décor for all family. Vacations, holidays and events carried special meaning for her as she enjoyed the togetherness of her family.

A visitation will take place on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 6PM to 8PM at Gonzalez Funeral Home. Graveside services will then be held at 10AM on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Tampa, FL. Arrangements entrusted to Gonzalez Funeral Home.
