He was born on January 30, 1938, and raised in Winter Haven, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (née Perry), his adoring children, Dennis, Sean (Sylvia), and Erin Marshall (Adam); and his three grandchildren, Elizabeth and Parker Marshall, and Gerald Keefe. He is also survived by his brother, Brian, and his sister, Mary Joe Wilson. He was preceded in death by his sister, Kathleen Keefe; his brother, Jerome Keefe; and his parents, Grace Mary and Joseph Keefe.
Patrick was a loving husband and devoted father who grew up around the lakes of Polk County. He attended the University of Notre Dame, where he was a member of the Naval Reserve Officers Training Corps. After attending Notre Dame, he spent several years in Europe traveling and continuing his education. He returned to Florida where he met the love of his life. They married on November 21, 1972, and began raising their family in Temple Terrace, Florida. Patrick started his own appraisal company, Keefe Appraisal Services, Inc., which he ran with his wife until he retired just short of his 80th birthday. As much as he loved working, Patrick spent as much time as he could adoring his family, being the best Papa to his grandbabies, enjoying time with his running club friends, tending to his garden, and indulging in his favorite food: ice cream. He never missed an afternoon cappuccino with his wife. His infectious kindness, warmth and witty humor made lasting impressions on everyone he met. Because of Patrick, the world is gentler, brighter, and better than it was before. He will be dearly missed.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on October 16, 2025, from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a Celebration of Life from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Blount & Curry Life Event Center, located at 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa, FL 33609.
