Born in Charleston, South Carolina, Peter grew up in Tampa, Florida, where he spent his childhood playing baseball with Palma Ceia Little League. He went on to play football at Plant High School and baseball for Robinson High School.
Peter had an adventurous spirit and a deep love for life. He traveled to 27 countries across 5 continents, always chasing new experiences and unforgettable memories. Whether he was attending a game—cheering loud and proud—or surrounded by family and friends, Peter made every moment count. His smile lit up every room, his laugh was contagious, and he had a way of making everyone feel seen, valued, and loved.
Peter is survived by his parents, Colleen Kelly and David Dennison, along with many beloved family members—his aunts, uncles, cousins, and the next generation of cousins’ children—each of whom he loved deeply and wholeheartedly. He also leaves behind countless friends, near and far, who he cared for like family and who will forever feel the loss of his presence.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, July 19th from 4 to 7 PM at MacDinton’s Irish Pub in South Tampa. Friends and loved ones are invited to come together, share stories, and raise a glass in his honor—just as Peter would have wanted.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to 4Ocean or the Tampa Bay Humane Society, two causes close to Peter’s heart.
