92 years of age, of Tampa Fl., passed away in his home on Nov. 23, 2018. Ramon was born on April 15, 1926 in the city of Mao in the Dominican Republic. He lived in the city of New York for many years. Worked as a barber and had various occupancies. In Tampa he worked in landscaping in the Hotel Industry. Ramon was very charismatic and had a wonderful sense of humor. He loved to drink his wine on a Friday night. Dancing was his absolute favorite hobby. He was a jokester whom always managed to put a smile on the faces of whom he would meet. Oh boy, what a great smile Ramon would carry on his face. He was an excellent husband, dad, uncle, nephew, and grandfather. Ramon is survived by his wife, Francia Madera and their 3 children Pamela Madera, Heidy Madera and Pabel Madera and his first wife, Altagracia Quevedo, and their 3 children Ramon Madera Jr., Miguelina Madera, and Zoraida Madera. He is survived by 4 grandchildren: Angelita, Trey, Kevin, and Velania. We will all carry him in our hearts. The wonderful man whom he was will always be carried with us daily. All of our teachings of being good human beings will always be present. And his legacy of being an honest, funny, down to earth man must be carried on. A visitation will be held on Weds, Nov 28th from 3-4pm with a funeral service starting at 4pm at Blount Curry Funeral Home, 605 S MacDill Ave.
