Our beloved and greatly missed, Ranfy Morales, age 60, of Ocala, Florida, very peacefully finished his journey here on Earth and left to his heavenly home on Saturday October 15, 2022, at 11:00 p.m. He was born on November 30, 1961, to Ramón and Norfy Morales in Bayamón, Puerto Rico.
His family of six (at that time), moved from Puerto Rico to Sebring, Florida in 1975. Where he participated in the marching band playing the trumpet and graduated from high school. In 1984 the family moved to Tampa area where he began working for Publix as a meat cutter; a job he loved, enjoyed, and gave his all until he retired in October 2022.
In 1995, he met Caroline Daniels, the love of his life, at Publix. Together they had two children, Joshua Robert, and Maryssa Della Morales. The most recent blessing of Ranfy’s was of his 1st grandchild (from Joshua and Kristen), Henry Miles Morales, born September 24, 2022. He was so excited to become a grandpa!
During his life he enjoyed his family and cooking for them. Ranfy loves his roots, he was so proud to be a “Boricua.” He loved the Puerto Rican food and their music, “salsa.” He loved driving to Daytona Beach in his jeep and had a passion for cars and races. He was an avid Buccaneers fan, “Go Bucs!” Ranfy loved gardening, especially tropical plants which reminded him of his beloved “Papi.” The highlight of his life (besides Caroline and his children) was when he shared working side by side with his son Joshua at Publix for one year. He was so proud of him! Joshua will always treasure the memories and time with his “Pops,” (like he called him.)
Ranfy was preceded in death by his parents Ramón and Norfy Morales, his oldest brother Raymond Morales, and his nephew, Armando Figueroa.
He is survived by his life companion Caroline Daniels, his children Joshua R. and Maryssa D. Morales, grandchild Henry Miles Morales, his sisters Mayra Morales, Abelaida Soto, Janette Morales, his brothers Ramón Morales Jr, William Morales and 13 nieces and nephews as follows; Cynthia Morales, Demetrio Morales and Matthew Solis; Elsie, Joseph, and Jacqueline Soto; Charles and Jennifer Figueroa; Kyle and Christopher Morales; and William, Andrew, and Justin Morales.
