

He received his Medical Degree from the University of Brussels in Belgium. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Gorgas Hospital, in the former Canal Zone, Republic of Panama. Afterwards, he then practiced and worked for the Panama Canal Company and the Department of Defense as a primary care physician for over 20 years with outstanding service. He moved to Tampa, Florida in 1986 where he eventually was in private practice for more than 20 years until retiring from actively seeing patients.
He was instrumental in starting Independent Physician Associations (IPA’s) and was involved in managed care within the healthcare field as a medical director until his passing. His medical practices, the Revello Medical Centers, continue on as his legacy in the Tampa Bay area. He was pioneer in preventive medicine offering free education to his patients, 20 years ago. He believed in integrative medicine and also was among the first to offer free care in his clinics that now offer a full range of services for his patients.
He was a humanitarian, ecologist & philanthropist who helped many esteemed and deserving organizations. He was a family man who thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and adventure. He aslo loved reading, crossword puzzles, tennis, and baseball.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maria Antonieta Riveros- Revello, his two children, Patti Revello and Martin Raul Revello; his grandchildren, Blake and Ashton Revello, and Julian Bilgray-Revello; his sister, Concepcion “Conchita” Moreno Revello & Dr. Alvaro Moreno, his nieces Cuqui, Irina, Tania, and Nadia Moreno Revello.
There will be a Memorial Mass at St Timothy’s Catholic Church in Lutz, FL on Monday, August 15th, 2016 at 6pm.
