Rebecca "Becki" Marie Cruz

Becki is survived by her husband, Manuel Cruz; children, Manny Cruz, Alonzo Avelino, Chris and Angie Silvestre.

Becki Cruz was born on 8/17/1977 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey to Lawerence Cook and Deborah Hand. She graduated from University of South Florida in 2017 with a degree in Special Education. She married Manuel Cruz her soulmate in 2009. Over a decade, the couple welcomed four children into their home and Becki set about teaching them the ways of life. Her children remember her as a weird, unique, strong, loving, and driven mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Becki was accomplished at education and often received many awards. She was a dedicated individual who loved helping children and who was passionate about traveling. She was an active and dedicated member of the jeep community and often volunteered at educational and mental health related events.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00pm, followed by the Funeral at 1:00pm on May 25th, 2025 at 605 S MacDill Ave, Tampa FL, 33609. Deacon Paul Haber will officiate the ceremony.
