Rose Traina, of Tampa, Florida, formerly of Queens, New York, passed away on December 8, 2020 at Lifepath Hospice. She was 94 years old. Born in New York on May 24, 1926. She is the second of four siblings: her brothers, Angelo who predeceased her, John, and her sister, Mary. Rose is the beloved wife of the late Sebastian Traina and the loving mother of Marian Capirchio, Larry Traina, the late Teresa Hollis and Philip Traina. She is also survived by grandchildren, Michele, Christopher and David, and great grandchildren, Marisa and Dominique. Rose will be forever missed for her love, support and kindness she gave to so many. Viewing will be held at Blount & Curry Funeral Home Oldsmar/West Hillsboro, 6802 Silvermill Drive, Tampa, Florida 33635 (813-814-4444) on 12/14/20 from 10:00AM – 12:00PM. Interment will follow at Sylvan Abbey Cemetery, 2860 Sunset Point, Clearwater, Florida 33759 (727- 796-1992)-at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The American Cancer Society.
