He was born on April 24, 1958, in Griffin, GA, to James Lee Patrick and Peggy Embrey Patrick.
He grew up in McDonough, GA, and later moved to Tampa, FL, where he retired from Moffitt Cancer Research Center with 34 years of service.
He is preceded in death by his father, James Patrick, and granddaughter, Lily Grimes.
Terry is survived by his daughter Amber (David) Grimes, mother Peggy Patrick, and brother Tony Patrick. Also by his grandchildren Xavier, Carlie, David Jr., Sarenity, and Shanay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital (PO Box 3142, St. Petersburg, FL 33731), or to the Ronald McDonald House (35 Davis Blvd, Tampa, FL 33606).
The Memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM, Friday, June 19, 2020, at Gonzalez Funeral Home with a gathering of family and friends beginning at 2:30 PM.
