Young Sook Kowalchuk, 63, passed away at dawn on February 23, 2022 with Fred, her husband, at her side. A longtime Tampa local originally from Seoul, she lived the demanding life of an Army wife, with sons born on two continents. Wherever she lived, Young had a garden, where she cultivated flavor and beauty and always shared her bounty. A giving soul with a sparkling laugh, she lived a life of giving - family, friend, or stranger. Young is survived by Fred, her sons Patrick & Peter Kosiewicz, daughter-in-law Najwa, grandsons Adam & Nour, brothers Song Ho & Won Jae, sister-in-law Jun Hee, niece Ah Ra & her daughter, and the rest of her Korean family. She radiated love, strength, and grace, which could be felt by all whom she touched.
