Alex Virgil Collier, 78, of Reisel died Sunday August 10, 2008 in a Temple Hospital. Mr. Collier was born in Waco to Aubrey Collier and Ollie Martin Collier. He married Mildred Hathaway February 6, 1952. He lived in Houston most of his life and moved to Reisel about 20 years ago. He was a carpenter had worked in Home Construction. Survivors include his wife Mildred Collier of Reisel; one son Perry Collier of Spring; three daughters Alexis King of Houston, Phyllis Warren of Spring and Carol Taylor of Austin; two brothers Roy Collier of Waco and Palmer Collier of Waco; one sister Dorothy Oleksiak of Waco; eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
