Anne-Marie McCartney-Staley, 35, of Killeen died Thursday, April 27, 2006 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 5, 2006 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Chaplain (MAJ) Les Maloney officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date. She was born September 12, 1970 in Belfast, Northern Ireland. She was a graduate of high school in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. She was in the U.S. Army, serving with the 372nd Transport Company at Ft. Campbell, Kentucky then with the 101st Airborne Division Air Assault DISCOM at Ft. Campbell, then with the Second ID Second Battalion Jag Corps in Korea and with the 13th Signal Brigade of the First Cav Division at Ft. Hood, Texas serving in Iraqi Freedom II. Survivors are her husband Christopher D. Staley of Killeen; her parents, Pat and Rita McCartney of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada; one son, Jordan Schroeder of Heidelberg, Germany. Memorials may be made to Boys and Girls Club.
