

B. Louise Parsons was born January 16, 1920 in Burghill, Ohio to Ethel Hall Garlock and Merrit A. Garlock. She was one of six children. Following her graduation from high school, she worked as a secretary for a forms printing company in Cleveland, OH and New York City. She later accepted a position with another company in Sycamore, IL where she met the love of her life, Veron Parsons. They married in 1956 and had their son, Veron Jr. a year later. In 1969 she moved to Temple when Veron was offered a plant manager job for a new forms printing company. Louise devoted her life to her home and family. They were long time members of the First United Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday school. She served as a volunteer for the Temple VA Hospital for 30 years. She enjoyed many hours playing cards with her canasta group and also her "Circle of Friends" crochet partners at teh Sammons Center. At home she enjoyed cooking and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2000, and three brothers and a sister are also deceased. She is survived by a son, Veron of Temple, a stepdaughter, Anita Dagostino of Aurora, OH and one brother, Harold Garlock of Kinsman, OH. Louise loved animals, and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Temple Humane Society P.O. Box 1093 Temple, Texas 76503.
