O B I T U A R Y Barbara Nell Preece Melton, 70, of Lometa and formerly of Belton died Thursday August 17, 2006 in a Belton Nursing Center Memorial Services for Mrs. Melton will be at 10:00 AM Saturday August 19, 2006 at the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ at 117 North Birdwell Belton, Texas. A family burial will be held at a later date, Mrs. Melton was born July 3, 1936 in Belton the daughter of Delmar and Bernice Preece. Mrs. Melton married September 25, 1959 in Hugo, Oklahoma. She loved all music her most favorite being the Gaithers, Elvis and Willie. She loved country by Lee Ann Womac. She enjoyed travel, shopping, and visiting family. She was preceded in death by her parents and one son Charles Lee Melton. She was retired as a consultant in the Tele-Communications Industry. Mrs. Melton is survived by her husband Charles Melton of Lometa, Two Sons Bill Melton of Pflugerville, Texas and by Barry Melton of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by one brother Dobbin Preece of Troy, Texas and by two sisters Zona Kelly of Belton, Texas and by Pansy Randolph of Belton, Texas. Two granddaughters and one great granddaughter
