Beatrice Cleo Matous

Mass of Christian Burial for Beatrice Cleo Matous, 78, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Luke Catholic Church with Father James Ekeocha officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Matous died Saturday in a Temple Hospital. Mrs. Matous was born in Meeks to Benno and Alberta Green. She attended Meeks Schools. She married Edward Matous May 24, 1952. She lived in the Temple area all of her life. She worked at Scott and White Hospital as a file clerk and at Dillards and J.C. Penney. She was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church, Ladies Altar Society, Eucharist Ministry, Golden Age Club and Texas Longhorn Foundation. Survivors include her husband Edward Matous of Temple; two sons Gaylon Matous and his wife Monica of Cedar Park and their child Trey and Brad Matous and his wife Karen of Parker, Colorado and their children Morgan, Mason and Mackenzie; two daughters Cynthia Barnes and her husband Glenn of Arlington and their children Allison Conyngham and Taylor Gedwed and Cheryl Meyer and her husband Mark of Temple and their children Ashton and Jake; one brother Glenn Green of Temple, one sister Doris Provazek of Temple. In lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association P.O. Box 96011 Washington, D.C. 20090-6011. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
