Beverly June Gomez

Memorial Services for Beverly June Gomez, 74, of Temple will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Deacon Bill Smetana officiating. Mrs. Gomez died Wednesday at her residence. Mrs. Gomez was born June 19, 1942 in Fort Smith, Arkansas to R.G. Taylor and Edna Foster Taylor.  She moved to Temple 66 years ago and graduated from Temple High School in 1960.  She married Larry Gomez August 2, 1985 in Las Vegas.  She worked in sales for Southwestern Bell Telephone for 28 years having retired in 1988.  She was Catholic and had been a member of Bowling Leagues in Temple and Killeen. Mrs. Gomez was preceded in death by her parents.   Survivors include her husband Larry Gomez of Temple, stepdaughter Lana Bone of Terrell; three sisters Oneta Taylor of Troy, Laneta Beach of Westphalia and Gracie Richter of Kerrville and two step grandchildren Adam Bone of Terrell and Ashley Bone of Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews and many adopted family members in the East Bell County Area.  A special Thank You to Bobbie Jo with Hospice, Kami Fuchs, Helen and Rob Peters, Kendal Fuchs, Tara Rabroker, Scott & White Hospice and Visiting Angels.
