Mrs. Barth died Tuesday in a Temple Living Center.
Mrs. Barth was born May 15, 1922, in Brady, to R.K. Hemphill and Josephine Baird Hemphill. She married Russell Barth January 8, 1944. He preceded her in death December 16, 1998. She moved to Temple in August, 1960. She was a member of the Church of Christ and worked as a Dental Assistant at Fort Hood.
Mrs. Barth was preceded in death by her daughter Stephanie Nash, two brothers Glen Hemphill and Vanvel Hemphill, two sisters Blanche Hemphill Burton and Mary Hemphill Whaley.
Survivors include her son Jimmie R. Barth of Temple; one daughter Sally Russell and her husband Jack of Searcy, Arkansas; six grandchildren Allen Nash, Laura Nash Collins, Kara Nash Stacy, Ann Nash Williamson, Lee Perfetti and Jason Hinds, sixteen great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren and one sister Geneva Hemphill Dean of New Braunfels.
Scanio-Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
