Bobby Wayne Stone

Funeral services for Bobby Wayne Stone, 69, of Troy will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Weldon Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mr. Stone died Tuesday in a Temple Hospital. Mr. Stone was born January 22, 1941 in Salado to Robert L. Stone and Oleta L. Whitley Stone. He lived in Salado, Waco, Palestine and Temple before moving to Troy twenty nine years ago. He married Janet (Mickie) Coan June 18, 1965. He owned and operated Bell County Electrical Supply in Killeen since 1981. He was a member of Killeen Chamber of Commerce and Canyon Creek Baptist Church in Temple. He was preceded in death by his father Robert L. Stone. Survivors include his wife Janet (Mickie) Stone of Troy; two daughters Cari Stone Sultemeier of Troy and Kimberly Stone Goldman of Morgan's Point; one son Kenneth Wayne Stone of Belton; his mother Oleta L. Stone of New Braunfels; one sister Betty Stone Shown of New Braunfels and seven grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
