Funeral services for Bonnie Lou Bufkin Laughlin, 87, of Temple will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday November 11, 2023 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Dowen Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Greathouse Cemetery.
Mrs. Laughlin died Sunday at her residence.
Mrs. Laughlin was born Dec. 4, 1935 in Houston to Edward Bufkin and Bertha Sparks Bufkin. She attended school in Breckenridge and graduated from high school at Southwest Assemblies of God College. She married Bob Laughlin May 30, 1953 and moved to Temple 61 years ago. She was a homemaker and was a church organist for many years.
Mrs. Laughlin was preceded in death by her sister Treva Willis.
Survivors include her husband Bob Laughlin of Temple; one son Ed Laughlin and his wife Sharon of Fredericksburg, four grandchildren Eddie Laughlin and Jessica Callery, Taylor Gutierrez and her husband Matt, Emily Ham and her husband Ben and Grant Laughlin; four great grandchildren Elliott Gutierrez, Benjamin Ham, Andrew Ham and Violet Gutierrez.
Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until service time on Saturday.
