Clayton Flowers, Jr., 66, of Giddings, Texas died Sunday October 18, 2009 in a Temple hospital. Military graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday October 23, 2009 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen, Texas. Mr. Flowers was born August 8, 1943 in Trinity, Texas to Clayton and Mary Arnold Flowers, Sr. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1964 being stationed at Pearl Harbor. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Giddings. Survivors include his mother, Mary Smith of Giddings; one daughter, Tonya Hall of Cibolo, Texas; two sons, Nathan Flowers of Colorado and Will Flowers of Los Angeles, California; five grandchildren.
