Connie Ruth Larson, 62 of Temple died Friday April 3, 2009 at her home. Visitation will be held 6-8 p.m. Tuesday April 7, 2009 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Mrs. Larson was born February 5, 1947 in Gatesville, Texas. She had worked for Scott & White Memorial Hospital for many years. She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Herring. Survivors include her husband, James Malina of Temple; her mother, Lillian Herring of Temple; three sons, Patrick Larson, Jr., Michael Larson both of Temple, and Christopher Larson of Portland, OR.; two sisters, Kathy Holladay and Debra Mitchell both of Temple; one brother, Jerry Herring of Harker Heights; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
