David Van Lankford, 57, of Temple died Monday Dec. 31, 2007 in a Temple Hospital. He was born in Odessa to Jack Lankford and Betty King Lankford. He served in the Army Airborne Division and had lived in Temple for about one year. He was an Instrument Technician. Survivors include one son David Lankford of Pennsylvania, two brothers Doug Lankford of Arlington and Roger Lankford of Plano and one half sister Kim Young of Glen Rose. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
