Funeral services for Doris Murray Gunn, 91, of Benbrook formerly of Temple will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with James LeFan officiating. Burial will be in Bellwood Memorial Park. Mrs. Gunn died Friday in a Fort Worth Nursing Center. Mrs. Gunn was born August 26, 1920 in Bend to Charles Thomas Fry and Mary Belle Jackson Fry. She married T.B. Murray. After his death she married R.L. Gunn who also preceded her in death. She had lived in Temple thirty six years before moving to Benbrook several years ago. She had been a Dorm Mother at Lubbock Christian University and Abilene Christian University. She was a member of Western Hills Church of Christ. Mrs. Gunn was preceded in death by one son Thomas B. (Tommy) Murray. Survivors include one son Jack Murray of Benbrook; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren Memorials may be made to Lubbock Christian University. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
