Dr. Paul Crumpler

Funeral services for Dr. Paul Hulen Crumpler, 52, of Temple will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday September 27, 2007 at Temple Bible Church with Rev. Gary DeSalvo officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie. Dr. Crumpler died Monday in Beaumont. He was born in Bowie to Hulen Porter Crumpler and Virginia Hatcher Crumpler. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1977 and Texas Tech University Medical School in 1982. He served his Internship at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center until 1983 and served his Residency in Family Practice at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center until 1985. He moved to Temple in 1987 and worked at Scott and White Hospital until 2000 and then taught at Temple College before working at Coastal Pain Care in Beaumont. He was currently working at Gulf Coast Health Center in Beaumont. He married Sherron Curtis June 27, 1996 and he was a member of Temple Bible Church. Survivors include his wife Sherron Crumpler of Temple; his mother Virginia Crumpler of Bryan; two sons Charles Crumpler and Javier Perez both of Temple; three daughters Vanessa Perez, Sarah Crumpler and Jenna Crumpler all of Temple; two brothers James Robert Crumpler and Adam Hulen Crumpler both of Bowie; one sister Jeannie Michelle Crumpler McGuire of Bryan; his step mother Joyce Crumpler of Bowie; one step brother Robert and two step sisters Rhonda and Jill. Scanio Harper Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
