Earline Ray, 93, of Temple died Friday, June 1, 2007 in a Temple hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 4, 2007 at Bellwood Memorial Park with Chaplain Buddy Burton and Rev. Jakie Shirley officiating. Visitation will be held 5-6 p.m. Sunday June 3, 2007 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mrs. Ray was born April 6, 1914 in Electra, Texas to William E. and Bertie Jane Foster Fielder. She attended schools in Big Spring, Union, and Forsan. She also attended Sul Ross College in Alpine. She married Melvin F. Ray July 4, 1933 and they were residents of Big Spring for more than 30 years. They moved to Temple in 1976 and were members of First Baptist Church of Temple. Earline was preceded in death by her husband, one brother, one sister, and a grandson. She is survived by her daughter, Melva J. Washburn of Temple; one grandson, Greg A.
