

Born in the Philippines on November 15, 1967, Ed proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1986 to 2004 as a Security Policeman Specialist. His assignments took him around the world, including Guam, Clark Air Base in the Philippines, Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland, the Netherlands, and San Antonio, Texas. After his military service, he continued to support the armed forces as a Biomedical Repair Technician working for the military as a civilian.
Ed was a devoted father to his sons, Christian Santulan, Bradey Santulan, and Addison Santulan, and a loving grandfather to Tatum Santulan and Tripp Santulan. He was also blessed with daughters-in-law, Kara Santulan and Randi Santulan.
He is survived by his mother, Fidela Santulan, and his siblings, Roderick Santulan and Mylene Santulan. He was preceded in death by his father, Rogelio Santulan.
Ed pursued higher education at PATTS College of Aeronautics, Texas State Technical College, and the Community College of the Air Force. Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Ed will always be remembered for his love of basketball, his incredible Filipino-style pork BBQ, his joy in watching movies, and above all, his deep and unwavering love for his boys.
Ed was a very giving person, always willing to lend a hand or share what he had with those around him. His kindness and generosity touched many lives.
A memorial service with Air Force honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home, 3110 Airport Rd., Temple, Texas 76504. Inurnment will follow at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, 11463 Hwy 195, Killeen, Texas 76542.
His family and friends will forever cherish the kindness, humor, and strength he shared with all who knew him.
