Funeral services for Edmith V. Mullan, 96, of Cedar Park, formerly of Temple will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday Dec. 1, 2014 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Hubert Austin and Rev. Tom Robbins officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 P.M. at Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Mark Markham officiating. Mrs. Mullan died Monday Nov. 24, 2014 in Cedar Park. Mrs. Mullan was born in Waco Nov. 9, 1918 to Lake Rush and Nannie Belle Ashbrook Rush. She married G.E. "Gene" Mullan June 20, 1942. He preceded her in death January, 1997. Before marriage Mrs. Mullan was Director of Recreation for the City of Tyler, Texas. After moving to Temple in 1956, she was an Accounting Technician for Soil Conservation Service. She was a member of First United Methodist Church where she was a member of the Dawson Sunday School Class and was class pianist for 21 years. She was a member of American Legion Post 133 Auxiliary. Survivors include two sons G.E. Mullan, Jr. of San Antonio and James Mullan of Austin; one daughter Cynthia Mott of Lago Vista; six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Visitation will follow the service at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
