Funeral services for Ella Chupik, 88, of Temple will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Emerson officiating. Burial will be in Seaton Cemetery. Mrs. Chupik died Saturday March 1, 2008 in a Temple hospital. Mrs. Chupik was born December 10, 1919, in the Thompson area of east Bell County to John Hejl and Anna Schiller Hejl. She had been a resident of the Temple area her entire life. She married Frank Chupik, November 15, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1983. She was a homemaker and a Cafeteria worker for Jefferson Elementary School. She was a member of Seaton Brethren Church where she was active in the Christian Sisters, and was a member of SPJST Lodge #47. Survivors include two sons Melvin Chupik of Temple and Kenneth Chupik of Holland; one brother Wilbert Hejl of Temple; two sisters Wilma Schiller of Oscar and Lorene Simek of Waco; five grandchildren Traci, Shelli and Allen Chupik, Duane Heiner and Mindy O'Neal and six great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Monday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
