Frank Fields DeLany was born on May 15, 1957 in Dallas to Kirk and Ann DeLany. He died on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the age of 61. Frank moved to Temple with his family in 1965. He attended elementary school, junior high and high school in Temple, graduating from Temple High School in 1975.
Always interested in cars, Frank worked as a comptroller for several car dealerships in Dallas. He returned to Temple in 2009, where he continued working for used car dealerships in the area.
Frank was a man of strong opinions, sharp humor and an amazing memory and he rarely shied away from speaking his mind. In that respect, he was aptly named.
Survivors include his mother, Ann DeLany of Temple, brother, John DeLany and wife, Vicky and his three nieces, Audrey, Colleen and Bonnie, who were always fans of his mischievous side. He will be missed.
Memorial donations may be made to Dawson Sunday School Class at First United Methodist Church of Temple.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 29th at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
