
Frank Quarles, age 72, of Temple died Sunday, May 14, 2006 in a local hospital. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 17, at Bellwood Memorial Park with Rev. Elwyn Johnston officiating. Visitation will be 6 8 PM Tuesday, May 16, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Quarles was born April 7, 1934 in Utica, Oklahoma to James and Eura Mayfield Quarles. He was reared and educated in Utica and had been a resident of Temple since 1959. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was owner and operator of Frank's Auto Renovating and Used Cars for many years. He was a member of Bethel Assembly of God Church. Survivors include one daughter, DeAnn Quarles Lagow of Plano, two sons, Roger Quarles of Moody and Alan Quarles of Temple, three sisters, Cora Maltby of California, Peggy Mithchell and Nina Jean Tigner both of Oklahoma, three brothers, Dave Quarles, Jackie Quarles and D. C. Quarles all of Oklahoma. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son, Kirk Alan Quarles. Memorials may be made to Bethel Assembly of God Church.
