Mr. Arrington was born in Altus, Oklahoma to Vincent Talmadge Arrington and Bessie Lee Harris Arrington. He moved to Temple 35 years ago from Vernon. He married Veronica Padilla 29 years ago. He owned and operated Arrington Pest Control in Temple for over 20 years. He served 13 years in the Army, having been station in Vietnam. He was a member of VFW Post 1820 and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Survivors include his wife Veronica Arrington of Temple; three daughters Leticia Marie Arrington of Temple, Deborah Zink of Arlington, and Kaci Jean Arrington of Austin, two sons John Wayne Arrington of Conroe and Bruce Randell Arrington of Conroe, one brother Ford Arrington of Ft. Worth, and four grandchildren Mary and Cindy Perez of Temple, Alysa Arrington of Conroe and Austin Randell Arrington of Conroe, and a life long friend Sonny Coble of Vernon.
