Mr. Fred B. "Junior" Barnes, Jr., 53 of Belton and formerly of Anderson, Texas died Thursday March 19, 2009 at his residence. Services for Mr. Barnes will be held at 1:00 PM Monday March 23, 2009 at the Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with Rev. Jakie Shirley officiating. A private family burial will be held. Junior was born in Houston, Texas the son of Fred B. and Delphine Hovadik Barnes, Sr. He attended Scarborough High School in Houston. Before moving to Belton he was a dry wall contractor in Houston for many years. The love of his life was trail riding and fishing. Junior is survived by his daughter Bradie Barnes of Houston, parents Fred and Delphine Barnes of Belton, sister Cheryl and husband Clyde Bachmeyer of Anderson, brother Michael and wife Stacy Barnes of Hempstead, sister Carol and husband Eddie Hunt of Temple and sister Karen and husband Kevin Noack of Crosby, TX. He is also survived by several dearly loved nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
