George Johnson George Willard Johnson 78 of Temple died Friday March 26, 2010 in a Temple hospital. Services for Mr. Johnson will be held at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery and will be announced at a later date. Mr. Johnson was born April 21, 1931 in Bangor Maine the son of Fred and Annie Curtis Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a retired veteran of the U.S. Navy and Army having served in Korea and Vietnam, where he participated in the TET Offensive. He retired to Temple in 1968. Scanio-Harper Funeral Home of Temple is in charge of arrangements.
