I knew Guy from Axtell school.  I did consider him a good friend.  I can still see his huge smile that made his eyes almost close and hear his infectious laughter.  It seems like there was always just an edge of mischief in him but subtle enough to never get in trouble.  He was smart and very well liked.  I'm very sorry to hear of his battle with cancer and of his passing.  Toni and Renee please know that our family will be praying for yours.

I was talking to Toni the other night, and she stated very sweetly that Guy just got better and better in life. It reminded me of many things about him.  He was a very patient and kind cousin to me up into adulthood. Guy used to breakdance. Yes breakdance and he would practice and practice until he was satisfied that he got it. He was that way about everything growing up , he didn't stop until he mastered whatever his genre was at that time.Guy and I had quite a few adventures when we were young. I remember my first sight at a snake with him in Oregon.  And the hippie that warned us to be careful.lol . We raced a bike down the hill with a boy named Dallas, we thought it would be a great ideal for me to ride on the handlebars brilliant! Another incident well let's say it ended in 11 stitches. At least we didn't get hurt up on the roof of the apartments! I loved him like a brother growing up .I don't think I ever heard him call me Rachel . It was always Rae. My prayers go out to all who will miss him and especially his family. God knows he will be missed. I love you cuz.sinserely . Rae

Guy and his sisters, Renee and Toni, are a special part of my childhood memories. We attended the same church as children, and Guy and I were in several elementary grades together. He had a contagious smile and laugh. Here is a photo of us in 1st grade. I am trusting God to comfort and care for the family and friends he has left behind. 

I would never believe that I would be writing something like this for Guy. Guy to me was a true friend! There is not enough space on here to share what I want the world to know about Guy. He's the only person outside of high school that I stayed in touch with all theses years. I alway made a point to stop by and see Sheri and him when I was in town and I always looked forward to our visits. 
Your will truly be missed my friend. Until we meet again. 

Sweet precious Guy!! One of my earliest memories of you was when you and your sisters rode back from Albuquerque in the back seat of our Volkswagen bug. What a trip that was.
I remember you living in the apartments behind our house, you and my brothers going to play in the woods, playing touch football, board games and just having a blast.  Then the most wonderful time we had when you came to live with us .
I could not believe how much 3 young boys could eat!!  Always cooking, snacking and playing.
I have so many memories of you being the peacemaker. The fights that Jay and Ricky would have, you were there to try to smooth things over.  One particular night, I heard a lot of commotion from the bedroom you were sharing. I came in and saw 3 shirtless boys with red welts on their chests. I asked what was going on and each of you said, “Nothing”. It was obvious a fight had been in progress, but you all covered for each other.
And of course  there was always a joke or a witty, clever remark to make everyone laugh!
 
Then time sped by and you grew up into a wonderful young man, had children, then grandchildren. We didn’t get to spend much time together, but we stayed in touch and both knew how much the other cared.
One of my most recent memories was when you came to the lakehouse and spent the night. You made those precious step stools, chairs for Adam and Emery. You were so proud of your handiwork (rightfully so). I got to hear you talk about all the tools you had, all the fun things you were making, how much you enjoyed it and how you were looking forward to doing so much more.
I loved the way you said Aunt Sharon!! I cannot express how extremely precious you are to Rick and I. We will miss your infectious smile, kindness, and true unconditional love.
Rest in peace our sweet Guy. Until we meet again. We love and miss you terribly.


Guy was special.  He was so funny and witty.  He was also one of the kindest people I went to high school with.  He was loved by all!  My love and sympathy goes out to all his family!  Fly high, sweet friend!

Guy always kept us laughing. He was definitely a class clown in high school. His laugh was infectious and got us all in trouble more than once.  He had a fantastic sense of humor and was very intelligent, hence the quick wit at all times.  I remember talking with him a few years ago at our class reunion and asked him what he was doing for a living these days. His reply was part time truck driver, full-time Ninja. I would expect nothing less! Guy was an absolute joy to be around and he will be dearly missed.  My sincerest condolences go out to all his family. God bless.

I literally love every memory I have of you. You were ALWAYS smiling and ALWAYS making sure everyone else in the room was as well. Two memories stick with me, one of those being basketball. Every holiday we were together it was always GO time if there was a ball and a hoop. You were quick and uncontrollable with the ball most times (chuckling now thinking about it) and the only reason you would win is because me and Little Guy would be sidetracked by your lame game jokes and banter! It was the best time. Another memory that popped in my head was when Renee was telling me what it was like growing up with you and told me about always finding you making faces at yourself in the mirror 😆 Not long after that during a Thanksgiving at Grams house, I saw you first hand make some faces in a mirror. Renee and I laughed so hard about it. You are a precious memory Uncle Guy. And an incredible testament to living life positive. I promise to take that same positivity moving forward as a way to continue spreading your love into the world because without that part of you the world is a far worse place. I love you. Make some faces in the clouds for us every once in awhile 😌❤️

Father’s Day 2020… Guy mentioned that he really liked a certain type of coffee I had at my house. I thought it would be really cool to surprise him with a subscription of the coffee for Father’s Day. Little did I know, Guy was going to up the ante big-time! He arrived that Father’s Day with a big grin and handed me two home made boards for the game of “washers”. (Basically corn hole with large metal washers.) I thought I was being so clever getting him the subscription - he showed me massive generosity with the handmade gift - so awesome!  Then, he lit the board up - he had installed battery powered LED lights that went all the way around the boards, and LEDs inside the CUP!!! 

Thank you Guy for the memory! Every time I see these boards, I get a great memory how someone can be so generous!

I have many great memories of my brother, Guy. Most all of my childhood memories include myself, Guy and my sister, Renee. We were always together growing up. Pictures of us individually were rare, but we have a lot of the three of us together. My earliest memory was when we were 3,4 & 5. We snuck into the neighbor's house during the middle of the day to play with their toys while they were gone. (They had better toys than we did!)They came home while we were there and we got out of there fast! One of my fondest memories is sharing a cruise vacation with Guy and his wife Sheri a few years ago. We had so much fun! Memories I will treasure.  He was more than my brother, he was my trusted friend. He gave thoughtful advice, was always willing to spar jokes and never said goodbye, instead said, "I love you, Sis!" I'm so grateful God chose him to be my brother. He left a hole in my heart. Until we meet again.
