Funeral services for Hugh Leon Gregg, 46, of Temple will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Adkisson and Rev. Wayne Hudson officiating. Burial will be in Moffat Cemetery. Mr. Gregg died Sunday May 10, 2009 in a Temple hospital. Mr. Gregg was born in Arlington March 17, 1963 to Albert Gregg and Marie Frye Gregg. He moved to Temple in 1975 from Moore, Oklahoma. He graduated from Temple High School in 1981. He had worked as an automotive parts counter man at Big 3 Auto Supply and was A.S.E. Certified in the Automotive field and was a certified automotive air conditioner technician. He raced cars at Temple Academy Dragway for several years. He was a member of College Heights Baptist Church. Survivors include one son Christopher Gregg of Belton; his parents Albert and Marie Gregg of Moffat; one brother Sam Gregg of Moffat and his grandmother Imogene Frye of Ada, Oklahoma.
