Mr. Ashcraft was born in Lubbock to T.E. Ashcraft and May Bell Hunter Ashcraft. He lived in Rogers most of his life before moving to Florence several years ago. He attended Rogers School and was a Baptist. He married Annette McCormick July 8, 1960. She preceded him in death Feb. 1, 1998. He married Judy Martin Oct. 27, 2003. He was a truck driver for Riley Gilleland and for Rockwool before forming his own trucking company, Ashcraft Trucking, in 1978. He was preceded in death by a brother Bobby Joe Ashcraft and a sister Nila Young. Survivors include his wife Judy Ashcraft of Florence; two sons Tal Ashcraft of Rogers and Robert Scharer of Florence, two daughters Lisa Sebek of Red Ranger and Suzanne Fullingim of Florence; two sisters Darline Hughling of Rogers and Doloros Tate of Rogers; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
