
Jackson Miles Hart Jackson Hart 88 of Temple died Thursday July 1, 2010 at his Temple residence. Services for Mr. Hart will be held at 11AM Tuesday July 6, 2010 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home in Temple with Reverend Lloyd Hart officiating. Graveside services with Military Honors will follow at Waco Memorial Park. A visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday July 5, 2010 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home. Mr. Hart was born July 15, 1921 in Duluth, Minnesota the son of Otto and Hattie Jackson Hart. He joined the Air Force at the age of 19 and served 20 years. He also served 15 years with Civil Service. He was the owner and proprietor of the J & J Dry Cleaners as well as Harts Bookkeeping and Income Tax Service. He was a member and Deacon of Memorial Baptist Church for 40 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Jewel of 55 years one son Gary and one grandson Bruce Bell. Mr. Hart is survived by two sons Lloyd and wife Luanne of Cape Fair, Missouri; Larry and wife Joyce of Holland, Texas., one daughter Peggy and husband Richard Woolfe of Little Elm, Texas; and one daughter-in-law Kay of Lewisville, Texas. One brother Tom and wife Ellora of Canada; two sisters Doris Downey of Waco and Lorraine and husband Roy Hanson of Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, Also surviving are 15 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. The family requests that Memorials be made to the Building Fun of First Baptist Church in Holland, Texas.
