Funeral services for James Murray Springer, Sr., 62, of Belton will be held at 10:00 A.M. Friday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. John Heckman officiating. Burial will be in Hope Lutheran Memorial Park. Mr. Springer died Tuesday at his residence. Mr. Springer was born in Cameron October 4, 1951 to F.K. Springer and Mary Lou Meek Springer. He graduated from Rogers High School in 1970 and attended Temple College. He lived in Bell County all of his life and worked for Classic Carriages in Belton. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. Survivors include four sons James M. Springer, Jr. of Belton, Jordan Ryan Springer of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Tanner Brock Springer of Corpus Christi and Jesse Campbell of Hutto; one daughter Samantha Brooke Springer of Waco; his mother Mary Lou Springer of Temple; one sister Faith Zajicek of Temple and seven grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
