James Thomas (Tommy) Sanders, Jr., age 64 of Belton, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at his residence. A memorial service will be held 12:00 -2:00 PM Saturday, January 16th at Foundation United Methodist Church, 10701 W. Adams Ave. in Temple with Rev. Ryan Kiblinger officiating. Burial will be held at a later date. Mr. Sanders was born January 12, 1951 in Georgetown, Texas to James Thomas and Frankie Jo Chambers Sanders. He graduated from Temple High School in 1969 where he played basketball, baseball and golf. He worked as an industrial contractor for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Honey Sanders, two daughters, Shayna Nicole Sanders and husband, Krisz Hargesheimer and Hannah Olivia Sanders and one son, James Murray Springer, Jr. and wife, Lorna all of Belton and three grandchildren, Emma Reed Springer, Colt Cockrill Springer and Iszabella Viktoria Sanders-Hargesheimer.
