Jeremiah W. Anderson

Jeremiah W. Anderson, age 32 of Moffat, died Tuesday, October 28, 2014 near Gatesville. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, November 1, 2014 at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Carl Love officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 5-7:00 PM Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the funeral home. Jeremiah was born on December 18, 1981 in Temple, Texas to Donna Harrington Anderson and Greg Anderson. He attended schools in Oglesby and graduated from Oglesby High School in 2000. Jeremiah married Tammy Cockrum on August 5, 2006 in Mother Neff State Park. He lived in the Temple area for many years and has been a truck driver for the last 15 years. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and long road trips. Jeremiah attended First Baptist Church in Moffat. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Janice Cockrum; his grandmother, Janie Harrington; and grandfather, Bob Harrington. Survivors include his wife, Tammy Anderson of Moffat; daughters, Cheyenne Nicole Anderson and Kristy Leigh Anderson of Moffat; a son, Colton James Anderson of Moffat; parents, Donna Earle and husband John of Oglesby and Greg Anderson of Waco; a brother, Jacob Anderson of Waco; a step brother, John Otis Earle of Oglesby; father-in-law, Danny Cockrum of Moffat; brother-in-law, Jason Cockrum and wife Rachel of Belton; niece, Ember Cockrum of Belton and nephew, Hudson Ray Cockrum of Belton.
