Jim David McMillan

Funeral services for Jim David McMillan, 74, of Heidenheimer will be held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Barho officiating. Burial will be in Reeds Lake Cemetery. Mr. McMillan died Monday February 19, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Heidenheimer to William Frank McMillan and Gladys Mae Wallace McMillan. He lived in the Heidenheimer area all of his life and attended school at Academy. He married Geraldine Moon Dec. 16, 1951. He owned McMillan Produce Co and was a farmer and rancher. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mr. McMillan was preceded in death by one daughter Cynthia Ann McMillan and one granddaughter Natalie McMillan. Survivors include his wife Geraldine McMillan of Heidenheimer, two sons Dave McMillan of Lott and Ernest McMillan of Heidenheimer, two daughters Debra Retzlaff of Temple and Connie Bales of Heidenheimer two sisters Janita Taylor of Sparks and Velma Lisenbe of Little River; four brothers William Frank McMillan of Hewitt, Donald McMillan of Porter, Garry McMillan of Heidenheimer and Larry McMillan of Burnsville, Mississippi., eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. Wednesday at Scanio Harper Funeral Home.
