

Jimmy Lee (Sonno) Easley, age 77 of Davilla, died Thursday, May 9, 2013 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 13, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Ray Crow officiating. Burial will follow at Seaton Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 - 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Easley was born May 19, 1935 in Temple to H. E. and Olga Laza Easley. He was a graduate of Temple High School and a member of the Texas National Guard. He married Donita Dukatnik on August 30, 1957. He owned and operated Wayne's Kwik Stop in Temple for the past 28 years. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Donita Easley of Davilla, two sons, Terry Easley and wife, Sherry and Steven Easley and wife, Terri all of Temple and daughter, Shari Sefcik and husband, Gary of Academy, four grandchildren, Sam Lopez and wife, Vanessa of Arlington, Jacob Easley, Kacie Easley and Meagan Easley all of Temple and two great-grandchildren, Parker Easley and Aden Lopez. Also surviving are two brothers, Billy G. Easley of Temple and Pat Easley and wife, Mary Ann of Red Rock and two sisters, Cindy Easley of Temple and Linda Bransom of Bastrop and his two faithful canine companions, Blue and Slim Jim. Memorial donations may be made to Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Rogers.
