Graveside services for Joe Villalobos Gomez, 82, of Rogers will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday July 1, 2013 at Rogers Cemetery with Deacon Joe Vela officiating. Mr. Gomez died Thursday in a Temple Nursing Home. Mr. Gomez was born in Mexico September 1, 1930. He came to the United States when he was seventeen years old and lived in Rosebud and Cameron before moving to Rogers in 1998. He married San Juana Garcia. He was a farmer. Survivors include his wife San Juana Gomez of Rogers; four daughters Eva Mendoza, Minnie Rodriquez, Soledad Aporto all of Rogers and Pidad Esquivel of Lubbock; two sons Adam Gomez and Rene Gomez of Rogers; twenty one grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Rosary will be recited at 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home.
